Our one-on-one reading literacy tutoring program is designed to help elementary school kids improve their reading literacy skills. In Kings, Little Miami, and Lebanon, Whiz Kids meets weekly during the school year, and kids are paired with adult tutors who provide personalized attention and support. You don't need to be an educator or have prior experience to be a hero to your Whiz Kid. Sign up today and make a positive impact on a child's life!
Join us on the first Saturday of every month at Serve Saturday to make a positive impact in the lives of students in the Kings, Mason, and Deer Park school districts. We're committed to packing weekend food packs for students who don't receive enough food over the weekend. It's a family-friendly event and an opportunity to donate to our CareClosets. Together, we're making a difference in our community.
We believe every student deserves the resources they need to succeed in school. That’s why we provide food and other supplies to students in all five school districts we serve. Our program was created based on reports from teachers that students were coming to school without a snack and struggling to focus. We stepped in to provide support, so these students could focus on their education.
Our Food Co-Op is more than a food pantry. We offer financial benefits and personal development opportunities for our members. Members pay only $5 for $60 worth of groceries and also have the opportunity to attend our annual developmental course. Additionally, they receive support and prayer from one of our coordinators during a 15–20-minute check-in. Join us as we work together to end the cycles of poverty.
Trauma Free World
We partner with Trauma Free World to offer trauma-informed care. Our four-week course taught by Kelli Peyton is designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to provide competent care. We piloted the educator-focused Trauma Competent Care class for Trauma Free World and have worked with almost 100 educators since. Learn more by clicking the link below.
Reading is a foundational skill that is essential for academic success. Our Reading Recovery program is designed to keep students who struggle with reading from falling behind during the summer months. Our program meets once a week throughout the summer and is in all five of the districts we serve in.
